They're cute but don't let your child actually walk in them for too long as they're very stiff and will eventually hurt their feet.

Ordered product in White.
-Has some tread on the foot of the shoe.
-The elastic bands holding the tongue down are indeed elastic and allow stretch for getting shoes on little feet.
-Nice attention paid to detailing. They're not just sneaker-like booties, they look like sneakers, but have plenty of flex/bend in them.
Only complaint: I cannot tell if the striping on the "elastic laces" is navy or black. Not a big issue. Just would have proffered all white.
