very poor quality, great visually

I have received tons of compliments for both my skechers, and i invariably disappoint these same complimenters by saying 'don't waste your money'. I rarely wear my skechers, just so that i can preserve them. They look great. The sizes run slighly larger than usual (more like European sizes than American).
However, its the terrible quality of construction - the sole wears off very quickly, the insides of the shoe wore off in no time. I only recommend this shoe if you plan to wear occassionally (can't be worn all day for a long holiday). I pity parents whose kids might be bugging them to buy these shoes because this is a shoe by its design invites more and more purchases and probably gets a lot of 'cool shoes' remarks. Buy at a discounted price only.
I'd instead recommend several Kenneth Cole Reaction casual shoes which might not look as cool in its simplicity of design as Skechers, but will last a very long time, and good pretty good too.

I have bought these shoes TWICE

That is how much I like these, goes perfect with any pair of draker jeans. Mostly book cut...say if you wear a black top and dark jeans, this would go perfect. Comfortable and very durable since the material is top notch...NEVER FALLS APART. I rebought a pair when some chick stole the first ones...they can't keep me from my sketches!

Sketcher's for men

This is a nice casual shoe. My husband has these in Black and Brown and they look nice with khaki's as well as jeans. He uses them for every day shoes and they hold up very well, although I do think this style hold up and dont show wear as bad as the brown ones that look like suede. They are pretty true to size and for the money I think they are a very nice shoe.

Comfortable and stylish, but only average quality

I love the style of these shoes. They're very comfortable, nice looking, and go fantastically with jeans, cargos, or even khakis. I've been wearing them for about 6 months and have to say I'm not entirely pleased with how they've worn. The leather exterior has gotten pretty scuffed and cracked despite the fact that I've really taken care of them. The interior has also gotten a little worse for wear with the sole losing some of it's support. That's probably my complaint with Sketchers shoes in general; they look fantastic but tend to wear out more quickly than standard athletic shoes. I'd still buy these shoes again though as I love the way they look.
