Great shoes! Jul 15, 2010

I am online shopping for a second pair! They are very comfortable, yet give needed support. I have also noticed that mud pops out when it dries in the treads.

GREAT SHOES! Feb 05, 2010

The product came in 3 days. I ordered on Monday and it arrived on Thursday. They are so comfortable. I wear them everywhere!

Great shoe. Lousy name. Comfy right away Jul 19, 2009

I hike in all kinds of terrain, but dislike heavy hiking boots. These shoes are as light as my running shoes, but have excellent treads to grip even the slipperiest surfaces. They felt good the instant I tried them on.

I didn't want to pay this much for a pair of hiking shoes, but I am glad I did. They are so comfortable they don't even need to be broken in. If you are used to running shoes, these hiking shoes do tilt you back a little. But it feels great and allows the thick soles to absorb the pounding when you hike downhill. My sports-loving daughter got a pair too. We enjoy them.

These run very true to size, the same as our running shoes. For hiking, I'd recommend a half size larger.

My first Merrells - love 'em Jun 18, 2009

I have never tried Merrells before, but I really needed some comfortable shoes for vacation in Washington D.C. where we walked and walked and walked and walked.

While other parts of me got sore, tired, and overheated, my feet were never the problem (nor my back, for that matter). And because the sides are so flexible, they work for varied widths - I generally buy Wide - and these fit quite well (and I bet they would adapt for more narrow feet).

Very glad I got them. I'm a fan!

Perfect all around shoe! Makes my big feet look tiny too! Mar 17, 2008

I LOVE this shoe! I have it in the desert sage and they look great with jeans, khakis, and shorts. I'm not a trail runner, but I do run after little kids all day. The mesh keeps my feet from getting sweaty, yet they are still very supportive and comfortable all day long. The fit is true to size in width and length. I usually wear a 10, but sometimes a 9.5. These were just a little small in the 9.5, but just right in the 10. One of my favorite features is the tread- yes it's non-slip, but it's also NOT a dirt magnet. I've gotten these muddy a couple of times on the soles, and after letting the mud dry, it simply pops right out of the soles the first time you walk in them again. These are much cuter in person than in the picture, and very flattering. They look tiny on my big feet- very cute!
