amazon does not list sizes! May 25, 2010
wtf! the sizing chart is all screwed up! wtf amazon? for $40+ youd think you could get it right. yet if you call to ask, they grill you for incessant details: 17 digit order #, name, addres, zip, phone, email. the website for this item only shows widths, then it says "one size fits all" (not possible, this item sells in rei with several different sizes), then they show E 10.5-12, and 6.5-8. "sizing information" only lists apparel sizing! so lame! and now im on hold as the lady from probably india looks into it. waste of time!!!!!! i see in reviews of company "insole dept" they've made other errors regarding sizing so youd think they would have fixed it by now.
Berry color NOT for High Arches as advertised Mar 26, 2010
I have high arches causing plantar fasciitis and back pain. Previously I had been very pleased with Superfeet Green insoles as I found terrific arch support. My PF went into remission and my back felt great. When it was time to buy a new pair I saw that the Green color was not recommended for high arches any longer, but the Berry color was. So I ordered Berry.
Not only is the Berry color not good for high arches, but wearing them has wreaked havoc with my back! My Plantar Fasciitis has returned as well. I am in quite a bit of pain.
So I am ordering another set of GREEN Superfeet insoles for my HIGH ARCHES!
High Arch buyers beware!
Not enough forefoot support Sep 26, 2009
I wanted to love these insoles for running, but they do not have enough cushioning for the ball of my foot. The arch support and heal cushioning are fine. I have normal arches and mild overpronation. I did better with Spenco for running shoes, and use these for other shoes.
Better than Dr. Scholl's, and worth the price May 20, 2009
I have high arches, pronated ankles, and have been dealing with plantar fasciitis (heel/arch pain) on and off for about eight years now. I used to use the Dr. Scholl's gel arch supports, but these are so much better because the arch and heel support are made of hard plastic so they don't lose their support over time. If you have feet like mine, you'll immediately feel the difference. In fact, it may feel a bit funny at first if your feet have "evolved" over the years to deal with poor support. These insoles will "show" your feet what it means to be properly supported, and your feet will thank you for it! You may think paying $40 for a pair of insoles is crazy, but think of it as an investment in good health for life. Your body will thank you later!
Superfeet Berry Insoles Oct 15, 2008
I did some research on recommended insoles. These insoles were recommended in one of my health magazines and after checking some of the local stores I purchased them online. I trimmed them to fit my running shoes and now I rotate them to different shoes, especially my uncomfortable dress shoes. They are a firmer insole. If you are looking for something big and foamy do not get this but if your looking for firm LONG LASTING support for arches this is the product for you.
