Great socks for walking while on vacation. Mar 25, 2007
I bought Thorlo socks after a trip to Disney World. In spite of wearing cotton socks and well-broken-in sneakers, I developed really painful blisters on both feet. The trip was ruined. I read about these socks on line and decided to try them on my next vacation. They are really comfortable and I haven't had blisters again, even when on vacations that involve lots of walking. I use them all the time now, not just while on vacation. They may be a little pricey, but I think they're worth every penny.

I gave this to a relative and she wanted more of them later. It has a good combination of sturdiness and not-too-heavy weight. Be careful in your selection, because the company makes more different styles than I realized, and many of them look similar (especially in online pictures).
